Dojo: I had to move to a new work setup and good news… “Dojo works on all my machines.”

IRL: Air conditioning died in my home/office. 🥵

It turns out “big corporation sticking it to the little guy” isn’t to blame for my soaring power bills. The culprit? A leaking air conditioner. A technician came out the other day when I heard a strange noise from the compressor. He figured out the problem but needed to verify parts etc… time moves slowly when you’re hot and waiting, did you know that… tick tock, tick tock.

 

Today, the unit decided, very selfishly, that it was tired of waiting and stopped cooling. Coincidentally, as if connected by some interdimensional portal, the tech called. Bad news, he says, it’ll take 38+ business days for the part to come in, which is 2 months in ordinary people’s language.

 

UGGGGHHHHH!!!! This is not fine, my little flame is out of control. However, maybe all is not lost. He’s coming out tomorrow and pumping freon into it, buying me time. I hope it’s a small leak.
