TLDR

Cairo: I’m running drills and putting in screen time. I probably will finish Starklings later tonight. I would have finished earlier, but I’m tinkering with the robot.

Ai: Building a Cairo Chad

Cairo:

Today, I popped the hood, sighed, and walked outside. Figuratively, but I probably should have IRL. I dig Cairo and all that it’s trying to accomplish. A massive salute to all the Cairo Chads moving it forward, but the older I get, the more I’ve become a ‘batteries included’ maxi.

When I hung up my IT company and moved on, the first thing I did was jettison Microsoft Servers/Windows and all things MS in favor of Apple. Why? Because it just works, and I don’t care how. I finally didn’t have to help anyone else figure it out.

Well, here I am back in the hot seat of writing a tutorial to help others. 🤦‍♂️ Sure, Cairo lacks batteries, but that’s okay because I will build my own Cairo Chad, thanks AI. AI Chad’s role will be to help people develop more dojo games by answering stupid questions. I hope to adapt this for broader use within games, but for now, the marching order is… Build More Games!

Ai:

Sometimes, ideas need to marinate for an undisclosed amount of time. It could be years, but luckily for me, it’s primarily days or weeks. I’m back at it with Deep Lake and Activeloop, and I know this will help with my current frustration.

I was trying to remember why I threw the idea back in the fridge… and the only thing I could come up with was how I hate Python even more than Javascript. I was probably on some Rust for everything tangent.

ANYWAY… It’s all a part of a master plan that I’m sure will reveal itself soon(TM).
